[March 30, 2006]. This book is wicked for producing ideas! Evil, evil book and authors (hehe. Gotta love it). On hearing about the Seven Sisters - linked by Mystra and their silver hair - I've been insanely curious, so when I found this book, I snatched it up.

Thus far, I've read about three sisters right now: Dove, Qilué, and Laeral. Dove, dawmn, love her she-drow guise. That was so hot! Grr, I do believe her get-up inspired my newest creation. Gosh darnit. But anyway, I love her weapons: daggers hovering about her shoulders. Gotta love that!

Qilué, I loved her masquerade costume or what there was of it. Laeral, I've just begun...so I'll have to wait to let others know who my favorite Sister is. Grr, I'm so lame. Every time I read a drow book, I end up making a drow character.

Hell, I just sent Isto'barra to her eternal rest (not that a lot of people are going to miss her). Guess my fickle muse thought I needed another scantily-clad she-drow. ::Rolls eyes:: My muse must be male. But anyhow, her name is Belaern Elgluth (drow for Treasure Whip).

Let's see how adequately I describe her outfit (Sorry if I fail miserably): High-necked, long-sleeved, body-tight leather tunic; the shoulders, the area of the abdomen (from beneath the breast down to higher groin), and the area of the chest (from collarbone down past a little the swells of her breasts, yeah gotta draw eyes to her bosom) cut out to reveal her obsidian flesh.

The high collar resembles a choker with a silver ring connecting the two leather straps in the front. The sleeves fall past the wrists and stop nearly at the beginning of the thumb, covering half of the back of her hand and the fleshiness of her palm. A leather strap with silver buckle cinches around her wrist.

The tunic, itself, falls low on her curvaceous hips. On the bottom of the tunic, black and purple, ankle or floor length , translucent scarves to form a natural skirt with a slit on the left side to expose the knee downward of her leg.

Beneath the skirt, starting where the tunic ends and the skirt begins, body-tight, knee-length breeches with buckles on the outer sides of her legs. A holster holding a whip rides high on her left leg to be concealed by the belt and skirting. Twin belts crossed low, low on her hips. Ankle-stiletto-heeled half boots.

Eye color, I'm trying to decide between lavender-gray, spring lilac or royal purple. Length, color and style of her hair I'm still trying to work out. She's rather flamboyant and bold about the ways she does things. Oh, her bloody tears tattoo is over her navel; she even packs a bodice dagger. What position she fills for the Bloody Tears I don't know yet.

Speaking about Bloody Tears and she drows, my assassin Degar revealed an interesting bit about her. How this came to mind, I don't really know. I just remembered a show moron watched on Animal Planet years ago about a man who's built up immunity to snake venom. Guess this guy loves messing with highly poisonous snakes like cobras, moccasins, etc.

Well, Degar did the same (which I wrote about). Lolth Priestesses carry a snake whip with writhing living viper heads. Then there are the spiders Lolth reveres. In day-to-day drow life, you constantly have to watch your back. You never know when an attack may come your way. Siblings in noble houses kill one another just to advance up in the numbered rank, so Degar learned this valued lesson after the scarring of her face.

It's come in handy. She really did not have to fear the bite of her sisters and mother's snake whips. Don'tcha love when a character reveals tidbits of information about them?

ANYHOW, my fickle muse, which I'm convinced is male, helped me get the preliminaries down on the writing I've been working on. All that's left to do is proof read (because my sentence structure, grammar, etc are atrocious), have my friends fix any discrepancy in their characters, and lastly add any last-minute scenes inside. Pretty sure it was ten pages. ::Shrugs:: Number of pages doesn't matter right? Just the content.

Sorry for rambling about with inane things. Guess you can say I'm conversation-starved. There's no one really here I can openly talk with. It's like living in the Underdark. You have to be constantly on guard, for once you relax, someone's sticking a dagger in your back.

The most people talk about is gossip like 'so-n-so is getting beaten up by her boyfriend' or 'so-n-so is cheating' etc, etc. I don't really care what's going on in a person's personal life. Most are about people I don't either know or know very well.

I like my books, romance and fiction. There is only one person I can share book knowledge with, and it's usually me suggesting certain books. I'm not into the country music or rap scene; I prefer my Goth music (as few people around here described it). It's just lonely; I can just begin to understand what Degar feels.
